Sunday Craft Café

"He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers."

Exodus 35:35 NIV

The group meets every first Sunday of the month in the church from 15.00 until 16.30 and is open to all. The time always begins with a cuppa, cake and conversation followed by a choice of crafty activities led by Gill or Ingrid. Some of the crafts we have completed over the last few years include: Decoupage, card making, painted rocks, glass painting, puppet making, wall and window banners for the church building and Christmas decorations. We are always looking out for fresh ideas and welcome any suggestions, whether it’s something you are an expert on yourself or just something you would like to try out.

A recent project the group have been working on is a trail of painted rocks in the theme of ‘Under the Sea’ which are to be placed along a short walk in Woodstock to help promote the group and provide an activity for families with young children or dog walkers.

During the coronavirus lockdown we have continued to meet over Zoom and have had meetings included Origami, Hama beads, Book making, Crochet with more planned over the coming weeks.
